Ribbon Chapel

Wright used this commission as a proof of concept for the spiral ramp in the Guggenheim Museum, which had been designed by not yet built.

Curving staircases encircle this wedding chapel by Tokyo-based architect Hiroshi Nakamura, meeting at a rooftop platform overlooking Hiroshima's coastline.
