Rich Hot cocoa (Judy the Elf Style)- 
Makes 4-6 servings 
 
Ingredients-
2 cups whole milk (can use 1 or 2% also)
1/3 cup plus 1 Tablespoon confectioners sugar, sifted
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 tablespoons unsweetened dark cocoa powder (I used Guittard Cocoa Rouge and I highly recommend), sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or extract 
185 grams bittersweet or dark chocolate broken into pieces or chips (66% is perfect here, I love Guittard baking wafers)
 
Steps-
Heat the milk in a small pot, just until it begins to simmer.
