Mushroom macarons, now that you've seen them I bet your wondering why you didn't think of it first. It's just so deliciously obvious isn't it. Well it was to me while I was making my mediocre mocha macarons a couple of weeks ago. Airy, delicious, and unbelievably realistic, these meringue mushrooms are a showstopper. Use them to decorate a Yule Log / Bûche De Noël.

Meringue mushrooms are crispy, crunchy and lighter than air. Looks so impressive for a Christmas dessert but oh-so-easy to make.
