I found this cookie recipe that my mom had marked as “wonderful” in her recipe box so of course I had to try them!

RECIPE

5 tbsp Soft Butter (75 grams)
2.5 tbsp Powdered Sugar (35 grams)
3/4 cup Flour/Maida (100 grams)
1.5 tbsp Almond Powder (10 grams)
1.5 tbsp finely chopped almond

🌰 Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
🌰Add flour/maida, almond powder and knead into a soft dough.
🌰Roll out the dough between 2 sheet of butter paper until 1cm thick rectangle
🌰Place chopped almonds on top and roll out once more.
🌰Chill the dough for 1-2hrs
🌰Cut into 1cm wide sticks
🌰Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 12-15mins.
